WHY ARE WE HERE? ..........SAFETY FIRST!

Radarsign, LLC was created out of a desire to help make roads safer wherever children play. The three co-founders all live in subdivisions where traffic speeds of a few careless drivers made the roads unsafe at times for everyone. We have documented success stories that show the signs will absolutely slow traffic, creating a safer environment wherever they are installed.

In researching the product solutions available in the market, the two most effective solutions turned out to be a radar-based speed board, and speed bumps or speed humps. Upon further investigation, we found the following:

Speed bumps and speed humps have a lot of downside. They do slow traffic, but also increase wear and tear on vehicles. They cause real problems for snow plows, and tend to slow emergency response vehicles. Neighborhoods also find it difficult to universally support speed humps.

Our market research on the radar speed boards found a handful of products currently in the US market. Many are designed seemingly as an afterthought to a company's total product line. They have assembled retail components and housings, creating an "off-the-shelf" solution that can be prone to failure and vandalism. Our visits to traffic engineers around the country confirmed that many have yet to find a speed board solution that measured up to their expectations. In addition, the existing signs sell for $3500 to over $8500, depending on the configuration.

We at Radarsign, LLC set out to improve on a good idea by bringing a cost effective solution to the market that also was designed to overcome similar product's shortcomings. Keys to our company objectives are the following goals:
