Flashing Beacon Only Safety System
The beacon only safety system includes AC or solar powered flashing beacons only. Single and dual beacon systems are available in front, top, and side mount beacon configurations
Optional add-ons include a local timer/controller, remote internet managed timer/controller, regulatory school zone sign, pole and footings.
Radar Speed Sign/Flashing Beacon Combo Safety System
The Radar Speed Sign/Flashing Beacon Safety System combo is more effective than stand-alone flashing beacons because of the physiological response of drivers to the radar speed sign displaying their actual speed. Because the sign flashes the driver’s speed as they approach it, the driver is forced into an active state of awareness of how fast they are driving, resulting in increased speed limit compliance.
This safety system includes:
- AC powered or solar powered radar speed sign
- AC or solar powered flashing beacons
- a yellow fluorescent YOUR SPEED faceplate for the radar speed sign
- StreetSmart data collection and reporting software
Each component in the Radar Speed Sign/Flashing Beacon Combo Safety System was designed to meet the highest quality standards, withstand the toughest weather, and provide a reliable method of slowing traffic.
- The radar speed sign with this system is available in two LED display sizes:
- TC-500: 12″ LED display with a 24″w x 26″h YOUR SPEED faceplate with 4-inch lettering .Designed for 40 mph speed limit road or lower.
- TC-1000: 17″ LED display with a 36″w x 44″h YOUR SPEED faceplate with 6-inch lettering. Sized for 45 MPH speed limit roads and higher.
- The beacon systems available are single or dual beacon systems in front, top, and side mount configurations.
- Provides maximum visibility with yellow fluorescent YOUR SPEED faceplate
- The system arrives 90% assembled and is quick and easy to install.
- Reduced operating costs-Entire system works from a single power source on a single pole.
