Customer Reviews and Testimonials

Radarsign is a trusted source for the best quality radar speed signs on the market today. Here is what our customers have to say about us.

We really like the analytics aspect of the sign. It’s the most important feature to us. The sign helps us to better utilize our resources. Knowing when the peak of the speeding problem is occurring and being able to put officers there during that time to enforce the speed limit is very helpful.

Up front, I told the mayor, We don’t need it, it’s a waste of money. By the fall, I told him, I do believe it’s made a difference. Once we got it in and got it installed, I changed my mind. I’m glad we have it now. It’s a wonderful tool: it really does slow traffic down.

It gets people’s attention. They slow down. You can sit a few blocks away and watch people hitting their brakes. We have residents ask, Could you put that on our street? And we like to do that.

It’s a good quality sign, heavy duty. The batteries last longer than we expected them to, and they’re easy to charge overnight. All around, it’s got good function and is user friendly.

The Radarsign driver feedback signs are working wonderfully and are doing what we need them to do. They pick up the speed of vehicles a good distance away and are a great reminder to drivers not to speed.

This is the first year that the city can plan to use radar signs on main thoroughfares in the winter because, unlike speed trailers, these will not interfere with snow plows. They will not have to be moved when the streets need to be cleared.

We can use them almost anywhere, even on streets that were previously inaccessible to speed trailers.

We wanted to get the meat and potatoes. Radarsign had more of what we specifically wanted. We could get the bells and whistles if we wanted them, but we didn’t have to purchase them just to get the basics.

They signs work great. They do a good job of giving folks a chance to correct their speed before entering the campground.

We had specific locations in mind for the initial 6 pairs of signs we purchased. We performed traffic studies before and after installing the TC-600s and found we were getting a 20% reduction in speeding. So we bought another pair of signs the following fiscal year.

Most of the signs are on our local collectors, where we have higher traffic volume and where speed tables would slow emergency vehicles more than we want. With the signs, we get more positive feedback than negative, whereas with the speed tables, we get more negative than positive.

It is working great. There has been a really good response. The townspeople are impressed. It is very easy to move. We absolutely love it. We leave the brackets up so that we can easily move it from one place to another.

Some of our Radarsigns have been up for more than 12 years, and we’ve never even had to upgrade. They just work.

Radar speed signs have been very, very popular with our citizens and we now have a long wait list of people and communities who want a sign in their area.

Having the data the radar speed signs provide definitely helps. All our towns have state highways coming through town, so we know already there’s bound to be a problem. When the towns have actual data, they can call the state in to do a traffic study that can lead to changes.

The data gathered showed that people were exceeding posted limits near the schools so they passed that on to their law enforcement agents. To me, that’s a huge success. We want kids to feel safe to walk, ride or roll to school, and to make our neighborhoods accessible for all walks of life. These signs give drivers a great awareness of their speed, so they help us do that.

The sign is making a difference, and drivers are slowing down. Residents like the sign and want it to be a permanent fixture on their street.

Before the signs were up, the cars didn’t slow down, especially the big trucks. After the signs were installed, I can see people up ahead slowing down. Everybody hits their brakes.

As a city, we have to get 3 bids for every project and are dictated to go with the low bid. Radarsign met all our needs and still offered the best price.

We looked at several vendors, but only Radarsign really fit with what we needed. Most couldn’t display a low enough speed for us for use in a warehouse—Radarsign does. And Radarsign has really good ratings from their customers. We felt we’d be better served by going with your brand. The sign does exactly what we need it to do.
