LED clusters deliver higher intensity alert than a traditional beacon head

This week, the Georgia-based company debuted new Hyper-AlertTM flash technology for the Radarsign TC-600, a full-matrix radar speed sign that is available in AC and solar power models.
The Hyper-Alert clusters—exclusively available from Radarsign—can be included as an option with new sign purchases or retrofitted into existing TC-600 model radar speed signs. Compact clusters of 68 LED lights are built right into the “Your Speed” faceplate, delivering an ‘impossible to ignore’ speeder alert that is significantly more compact than traditional beacons. By clustering the LEDs into a smaller footprint, the same light from a typical flasher becomes an urgent notification for the driver. When combined with the full-matrix word alerts SLOW DOWN or TOO FAST, speeding drivers can be signaled to slow their vehicle to a much safer speed.
