MARIETTA, Ga., May 21, 2020—The small town of Three Forks, Montana is celebrating safer school zones with the arrival of a new Radarsign TC-400. The delivery and installation of the sign was covered by journalist Jack H. Smith at Three Forks Voice. The portable driver feedback sign from Radarsign—the manufacturer of the world’s first armored radar speed sign—is being used to slow speeding drivers who endanger the lives of students, parents and school staff.
The city equipped the speed sign with Radarsign’s Streetsmart traffic data reporting software, which allows the city to capture and report, organize and analyze the traffic data collected. With the data conversion tool in Streetsmart, the information collected by the radar
speed sign is loaded into Excel™ready .csv files. Streetsmart can generate 35 charts and graphs with just a few mouse clicks.
The ability to capture traffic data was a priority for Broadwater County Sheriff Wynn Meehan who explained that “data is crucial for getting coverage to the problem areas.”
